D.B. Cooper

The case of D.B. Cooper is one of the most infamous cases of hijacking in American History; and to this date, remains the only one that is unsolved.


On November 24th, 1971, a plain looking man in his mid thirties-mid forties walked into the Portland Oregon airport and purchased a one-way ticket to Seattle, Washington. Shortly after takeoff, the man passed a note to a flight attendant, Florence Schaffner. She took the note and slid it into her pocket, intending to read it later. Unfortunately, the man was not content with her looking at the note later.
