John Orr’s first real experience with fire was watching a house burn down in his childhood neighborhood. Firemen swarmed the house, trying to put out the blaze all while the kids in the neighborhood watched them try and control the situation.
Aside from this house burning down, the rest of John’s childhood was relatively quiet; when he turned 18, he decided to join the Air Force in their Fire Protection Specialty Training. Unfortunately, life in the Air Force wasn’t quite the best fit for John; he didn’t like being ordered around, with someone else in control of his life. As soon as he got out of the Air Force, he decided to look into being a police officer instead.
